A router is use to setup a internet connection which lies on physical layer of OSI model. To set up different configuration are done in accordance to the type of internet you connect. In normal the gate way for the configuration of router is 192.168.1.1 here we can configure the router.
Steps to configure the router
1. Supply power to the router
2.Connect all the wires in correct position of the router

3. Now open any browsers in your computer
4. And type 192.168.1.1 in your browser address bar
5. New admin pannel of the open
6. Enter your user name and password
