Why can't I connect to the Internet?

 This problem mostly occurs when your router and modems are not working fine and the connection of cable are miss placed or the damaged. Try running the connection even it doesn't work so it will help you to get connected to the internet through troubleshooting .
If running the Network troubleshooter didn't solve the problem, follow the given  steps:
  1. Check  all cables are connected or not. For example, make sure your modem is connected to a working phone jack or cable connection, either directly or through a router.
  2. Remove the power cord from the modem and router.

  3. After all lights on the devices have gone out, wait at least 10 seconds, and then plug the modem and router back in.
    If your router have a  backup battery then press the reset button and if you didn't find out the reset button the remove the battery.
  4. If your connection is for the fist time then you need to have make a router compatible with Windows the old router doesn't support the new features in Windows so compatible router is to be kept else the problem could arises. If you are not know with compatible then you need to go the Compatibility Center of  Windows . 
  5.  We need to be sure that router and the adapter  is working together  or not. If it doesn't  have a wireless standard that is equal or the router than you are using then it might also create  problems.

    If the given steps does not solve your problems then you need take other steps to be followed descrbed in next title.
